Below we are showing the results of the simulation of the output star of an 8-channel colorless AWG. The Free Spectral Range of the AWG has ben set at 25.2 nm (=8 * channel spacing of 3.2 nm) in order to give the right periodicity to the AWG.
In the animation sweep we are changing the wavelength of simulation with increments of 3.2 nm. You can clearly see the nice periodicity of the AWG due to the different orders of diffraction.
