Using micro technologies, channels, inlet/outlet connectors and nozzles can be ultra precise machined out of silicon and glass. Channels can be made in bonded sandwiches of glass, silicon and glass or silicon parts. Capillary connections into the channels can be made from the side or the top of the chip. Nozzles for ink jet printers or for water jets can be custom designed and fabricated.
