C2V appoints Martin Amersfoort as member of the advisory board

Enschede, The Netherlands - May 24, 2007 - It is our pleasure to announce that Dr. M. Amersfoort will join C2V's advisory board. Dr. M. Amersfoort will especially guide and assist C2V on identifying the innovations and trends in optical applications based on Arrayed Waveguide Technologies.
Dr. M. Amersfoort has a PhD from the University of Delft (Phased-array wavelength demultiplexers and their integration with photo detectors) and worked for Bellcore in the USA for several years in the ninetees. On his return to the Netherlands in 1997 he became Managing Director of BBV and was instrumental in the company's acquisition by Alcatel. Dr. Martin Amersfoort holds a number of key patents including but not limited to novel methods for passband flattening of Arrayed waveguide Gratings.
